Wayzata High School is offering the opportunity to test for the Minnesota World Language Proficiency Certificate or Bilingual / Multilingual Seal / Global Seal during the 2025-26 academic year for students in grades 10, 11 and 12. The next testing date is November 1st 8:30 to 3pm in the 2nd floor forum.
Students in grades 10, 11 and 12 who register to test will be scheduled to take the Avant STAMP
(StAndards-based Measurement of Proficiency) at Wayzata High School. Students must complete the
four parts - listening, reading, writing, speaking - in one sitting. Please plan to test for 2-3 starting at 9am in the 2nd floor forum. For more information about the assessments, languages and achievement opportunities, please see our Language Achievement Comparison chart:

Students who would be good candidates for a Bilingual, Multilingual, or Global Seal include:
Students who wish to earn a certificate and transcript notation for proficiency in languages other than English. Students who are completing a Wayzata language course but are not planning on completing the AP
Language & Culture Course or Exam. Students who are heritage language learners (learned a language at home) Students who learned another language through experiences such as bilingual education, immersion or dual language programs, community language programs, homeschooling, private tutoring, and/or an International Baccalaureate program.
To register, complete the information below and submit payment. Registration fees are non-refundable.
No exceptions! Registration ends October 15, 2025.
All tests cost at a minimum $50 unless instructed to pay more by Carrie Berg. There are some that cost more and may be subject to an additional fee.
