DescriptionGleason Lake kindergarten classes will be taking a field trip to Westwood Hills Nature Center on Wednesday, May 29. Buses will leave school at 9:15 a.m. and return at 11:30 a.m.
Westwood Hills Nature Center's forest, restored prairie and marsh are unique outdoor classrooms in the middle of the city. Professionally trained naturalists lead a wide variety of fun, informative, hands-on environmental education and outdoor recreation programs. Students, teachers, and other supervising adults should be dressed to be outside for most of their time at the nature center.
There is a $5.00 fee for this field trip. Scholarships are available by contacting your classroom teacher.
We will return to school for our normal lunch routine.
