Kindergarten Field Trip to Ready, Set, Grow at Landscape Arboretum

Dear Kindergarten Families,

All Kimberly Lane kindergarten classes will take a field trip to Minnesota Landscape Arboretum on Friday, May 15.  Students will participate in the class called Ready, Set, Grow!

Here is important information about the trip:

The buses will leave school at 10:30 AM and return by 2:00 PM.

Students will need to either bring a lunch with a disposable beverage from home OR choose a lunch option from school . Please pack your child’s lunch in a LABELED disposable bag (ie., brown lunch bag, plastic Target bag, Ziplock bag, etc.) and make sure ALL items in the lunch bag are disposable (including the beverage). 

Please dress for the weather! We will go to the Arboretum, rain or shine, unless there is severe weather. Please wear closed-toe shoes.

Each class is allowed three parent chaperones. Your child’s teacher will reach out to the list of pre-approved volunteers who filled out the Online Background Check.  (Please take into consideration that there are many volunteers who show interest, so if you volunteered for our Stages field trip, you may not be selected for this field trip. Thank you for understanding.)
