Two Upcoming 5th Grade Events - One payment of $30.00 covers both events.

Field Trip Date:  May 17, 2024

 1.  Kimberly Lane 5th Grade Biztown Field Trip on May 17 from 8 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. -  All students will need           to bring a home lunch in a disposable container.

2.  T-shirt for Tye-Dye -   Each student will tye dye a white-tshirt in art class to celebrate the end of their             5th grade year.  Teachers will help students choose their size in school.

Chaperones and volunteers will have been contacted earlier by teachers.  All chaperones and volunteers will have needed to submit the Online Background Check prior. Please be sure that you have completed any trainings or forms requested by teachers needed for these activities ahead of time.    

If chosen, chaperone volunteers must provide their own transportation and arrive at the JA BizTown facility by 8:00 a.m. to get ready for your day and be able to stay until 1:30 p.m.  You must also complete an online training prior to the field trip. 

Chaperone's will guide 5 - 7 students in a small business group throughout the day as they run their businesses. Please find alternate care for younger siblings during this day.

 Note:  There may be a limited number of chaperone spots available.  If we have more volunteers than spaces, each classroom will hold a lottery.  All chaperones will be notified by their child's teacher.
