On May 22, 8th grade students who chose this trip will go to the St. Michael Cinema to view the film, "Project Hail Mary", which is based on a science fiction novel by Andy Weir. Students will watch the movie and then participate in follow-up activities and a picnic at Parker's Lake. The cost for the trip covers the film, transportation, and pavilion space at the park.

Permission forms will be sent out in the beginning of May and will be expected to be signed and brought back by May 15.
