All First Grade classes will be traveling to The Works Science Museum on Tuesday, May 6th.  The Works is an interactive children's museum in Bloomington, Minnesota that focuses on technology and engineering. Students will be able to engage in exploring the science museum with numerous hands-on activities as well as participate in a workshop called “Lights & Kaleidoscopes.”   

This experience is an extension of our science unit called Lights & Sound.

The buses will depart from Meadow Ridge at 9:15 am and return around 12:30 pm. We will be eating lunch back at school following our visit. Please indicate what lunch choice your child would like when signing up on e-pay.

If you would like to chaperone, please indicate so online when you fill out your child’s permission form. Chaperones will be chosen based on a lottery system. Chaperones are welcome to take the bus with us or drive separately.
